Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Arusha Airport for your flight to Serengeti Central, Seronera. On arrival, you'll be met and greeted by your guide and leave for a game drive searching for the big cats and Big Five. In the afternoon, your driver will make a great place where he will set and prepare the table for a full hot meal. Lunch will be soup bread rolls, the main dish and fruits salad. This will be followed by a glass of wine, tea and coffee. At this point, you will meet other guests from other companies but mostly with a sandwich cold lunch. Also, while on safari with us, you'll go for an afternoon game drive after lunch where you'll be viewing the great migration. In the evening, check into the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay in Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park. It is also a World Heritage Site and recently proclaimed a 7th Worldwide Wonder.

Serengeti National Park
Day 3: Serengetu full game drive

Today is dedicated to a full day game drive along Serengeti plains. This is home to elusive lions, leopards, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, and a million wildebeest. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration when some six million hooves pound the open plains. Each one is driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life. A frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest. You'll see 40km (25 miles) long columns wildebeests plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north. This replenishes the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000km (600 miles) pilgrimage begins again.

Central Serengeti National Park
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorngoro

We will rise up early and drive to Ngorongoro for the crater tour. The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20km across, 600m deep and 300sq km in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, lions, black rhino and other water birds can usually be seen here. We will head back to karatu town late in the afternoon where your hotel is locate.

Ngorongoro Crater
Day 5: Tarangire to Zanzibar

After breakfast pack your lunch and luggage, then drive to Tarangire for a full day game drive. Your destination at the park is located slightly off the main safari route. Tarangire National Park is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania that is most famous for its elephant migration, birding, and quiet authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travelers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for a matter of hours leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched. The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing lions. Visitors to the park can expect to see any number of residential zebras and wildebeests in addition to the less common animals. Other common animals include waterbuck, giraffe, and olive baboons. After lunch transfer to the airport and take flight to Zanzibar where you will meet with our driver who is waiting to transfer you to the hotel.

Visitors can explore its labyrinthine streets, bustling bazaars, historic buildings like the Sultan's Palace and the House of Wonders, and enjoy the vibrant blend of Swahili culture. Prison Island (Changuu Island), a short boat ride from Stone Town, was once used as a detention site for rebellious slaves and later as a quarantine station.
